I would like to gather images from and control a ccd camera using the ethernet port on the EZ-Lite development board. Does anyone have experience that they would care to share...or recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Howdy Hummer,
Some of the cameras will have their own web server that you can navigate to and view the current camera stream. I imagine that n the EZ-Lite you can use HTTP to grab images from that webpage for processing. This means that you will have to find a compatible code for the Blackfin that allows web access (http and html functions) and call into that code using LabVIEW Embedded for Blackfin. Alternatively, you can use the TCP/UPD functions to read the raw stream of data, but you will need to contact the webcam's manufacturer to get access on how the data packet is formatted.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any manufacturers or models in mind?

Hi Hummer,
No, sorry. I imagine people on other Blackfin forums could help you out though. You may want to contact various webcam manufactures to see what they have to offer.

Where would I find the BlackFin forum if this isn't it?
Thanks.
