Sort Controls in Read / Write Control (FPGA Interface)

The Control / Indicator pull down menu gets unwieldy with a lot of Controls on the FPGA Front Panel. 

I would like to be able to sort the names alphabetically so they are easier to pick in the pull down list.

This can manually be accomplished by setting the front panel tabbing order of the controls for the FPGA VI.

This idea deserves a lot more votes, especially since we can't mark certain controls/indicators as private! It would be great if the IDE could let us choose the sorting criteria (although I can't think of any case where tabbing order would be the best criteria)

I really want this idea. I have taken to using the same sort of naming conventions as the VST projects, where you define group.parameter as the name, so like 9223.Sample Period

With these then sorted this will be much easier to work with, even better if it could make submenus based on this 🙂
