Add visual context preview for "Choose Implementation" dialog for OOP

Status: Completed

Available in LabVIEW 2019 and later. The Choose Implementation dialog now includes a diagram preview for the selected override VI.

Hi All,

there is a visual preview of context of hash tags in bookmark manager available for download form ni.com.

This tool allows for quick understanding what is the code around the has tag which help to easily understand if this is the hash tag that I need.

This is the visual bookmark manager: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-31854

Lets add the same option for "Choose Implementation" dialog for OOP in LabVIEW, so here:

I would do this myself but the "Choose Implementation" dialog is pass protected.

Thank you Darren, this is wonderful. I think the way it streamlines OO development will greatly help the community. I have one small suggestion, if it would be possible. I believe it would be beneficial if the preview in the window was centered. Now it seems not to be centering. This becomes even more valuable when you make the preview window bigger.

Right now it will put the origin of the diagram in the upper-left. I tend to think this is the right behavior. You can reset the origin of the diagram in a couple of ways. You can press Ctrl-Space, Ctrl-O with the diagram window open, or (better in my opinion) press Ctrl-Space, Ctrl-F, which will not only reset the diagram origin, but also set a good window position for the diagram as well.
