Easily revert shipping examples in NI Example Finder back to "factory" default

Status: New

I find myself using the example in NI Example Finder everyday and sometimes I accidentally make changes to the examples when I didn't want to. It would be nice to have the ability to easily revert all example back to what they were when LabVIEW or a specific module/toolkit when it was originally installed.

Currently this requires deleting the actual examples and placing them back into the right directory. The easiest way to do this manually delete the folder from the "Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW <version>\examples" folder and then run a repair to add the files back in. This would save the time it takes to locate the actual examples and repair to correct piece of software. I understand I should pay better attention to what I am saving, but it could would be nice to have.

LabVIEW2012 will fix it. Opened examples are opened as copy.

It's also not *quite* true. Without saying too much further in a public forum, the feature JCC is thinking of is not the same as the examples. Close, and clearly moving in the same direction, but not the same.
