I vote for cleaner icons.  Although the original convey a clear message, you need to look at them carefully.  Having a single good eye, it is easy to miss details (and yes, it is annoying, but I have to live with it... - sigh - )  So anything to help poor sighted people gets my vote.

While you are at it, make them smaller. What's the need for the full size icon when most of those take at most 2 inputs and have a single output?

Available in LabVIEW NXG 1.0. The Exponential nodes now include the formula notation in a banner at the bottom of the node image.
