When publishing documentation for a VI you can create a comprehensive .html document that shows all of the code, controls, vi hierachy and documentation that you've written. You can customise the components that it includes to your preferences. You do this with the following:
File >> Print >> XXXXX.vi >> VI documentation >> Settings >> HTML file.
I propose the same tool is adapted so that it can also be used to document an entire project, this could have the option to incude the following items:
- All VIs and Hierachy.
- Variables + Documentation.
- Project Documentation.
- Dependencies.
- Virtual Folder Structure.
- Build Specifications + Documentation.
- Target Information.
At the moment, if you attemp to select File >> Print from the project, Print is greyed out.
Thanks,
