Highlight current selection in the remaining graph menus

Status: New

It would be great if the current selection in a line width / line style menu of a graph is highlighted somehow!

For example, if you go to the submenu of a graph legend and want to change the line width:

Why isn't the current selection greyed out or framed? Then you could see at a glance, which type is currently"active". This is already implemented in the other sub-menus of the graph (point style etc.)

Perhaps this should be submitted as a bug report?

There are no bug reports in NI since some time now. They check the Exchange Idea forum for the hottest issue.

That's not true for bugs.  If you find a bug and you get an Application Engineer to duplicate, there is a CAR (Corrective Action Request) that is written up and NI keeps track of those.

I'm not sure where you got this idea, but people file bug reports daily. The team's CAR list would be empty otherwise. Two "fixed pending validation" notices came into my inbox while I was reviewing this morning's Idea Exchange entries.

Thanks for the confirmation and correcting me. I don't know about the length of the internal CAR list, but I was told several times by NI support to file an Idea instead escalating the matter by email. According to my understanding of software bugs, half of randomly opened Ideas are bug reports.
