Hello,

Being able to rotate some indicators, controls, graphics or anything else would be great in my opinion.

Indeed, for example, when you have to represent an electrical circuit in your HMI, you must have several images of the same component with an angle of rotation of 0°/90°/-90°/180°.

So allowing a LabVIEW user to rotate some elements with an angle which could be set, would be more convenient.

 

  Four images for one element. If we have 2.000 différent elements we must store 8.000 images.

This is somewhat (not quite) of a duplicate of rotate a frontpanel object - NI Community, although this idea has more kudos and specifically asks for 90, 180, 270 angles.

12 years gone since the post of this idea, nothing has happened. 😞

I need this option, too, because we often use customized switches to provide an easy-to-read HMI like this:

So it would be very helpful to be able to rotate or mirror front panel objects.

By the way, it would be nice to have more ends for decoration lines like nothing or arrows. The best would be a line with selectable starting/ending objects like frames or solids of arrows/circles

You're not the first. If you ever want to add tracing to a pipe, good luck with the dashed line!
