Location – Cheltenham (Central) – Hybrid options to be discussed at interview, but you must be able to reliably commute to Cheltenham

What will I spend my day on at Noriker?
Work heavily with LabVIEW to design, program, and maintain control projects from end to end
Maintain existing LabVIEW software projects
Assist projects across the business with the planning, design, and implementation of control and integration systems
Get involved from design through to operations of large engineering projects, being part of a team responsible for SCADA architecture, coding and commissioning to deliver projects on time and in budget
Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project success
Promote best practice for LabVIEW software development across the team, and mentor junior members where necessary
What will make me successful in the role?
A solid engineering background, being degree qualified in a STEM subject
At least 3 years of experience with advanced LabVIEW programming in a commercial, industrial or research environment, with an emphasis on Control Systems
Electrical / Power engineering experience would be ideal!
Good working knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, Labview, c++ or Python, with TCP/IP networking or front-end web development would be an advantage (but don’t let this stop you applying!)
You are a self-motivated individual with a sense of responsibility, and happy accepting your part in working towards a larger goal
Have permanent right to work in the UK
Training will be provided for specific SCADA development environment

The next stage is an in-person interview with a team leader and senior management, we may ask you to prepare something at this stage
