LabVIEW 2023 Q3 has new visual feedback when you mouse over a wire.
The behavior of clicks when using the Auto tool has not changed. When your mouse cursor is directly over a wire, clicking will select it. When your mouse cursor is just to the outside of a wire, clicking will create a wire branch. The cursor changes to the appropriate tool on hover to let you know what will happen when you click.
In LabVIEW 2023 Q3, however, there will be a dot visible on the wire if clicking will create a wire branch. And if clicking a wire will select it, the wire flashes with a highlight instead of appearing/disappearing alternately.
