NXT +logging ambient light

Hi,

I would like to log ambient light sensor measurements.  I don't see a way on the log light vi to select LED off.

Any suggestions?

I have a few additional questions.

Are you using the NXT Module in LabVIEW or the LEGO Mindstorms NXT Software?

Also, is the exact function you are trying to use Log Light.vi? If so, where is it located? I tried to find it but wasn't sure which exact function you were using.

I'm using the NXT Module in Labview. 

The function I am using is located in the Functions palette:

NXT Robotics

NXT I/O

Log Red Dataset

Michele,

The Log Red Dataset (Log Light function) is only writing data acquired from the port. From this VI you cannot control the sensor or turn off the LED.

I think the VI you are looking to use is the Read Light (LED Off).vi. This VI can be located at NXT Robotics»NXT I/O»Complete»Sensors. Let me know if that VI will work for your application.
