2D array Display - CPU

Hello,

I have a 1280X1024 array that I would like to display. If I use Pixmap (to use a picture indicator) or Vision Vis (to dispaly an image), it takes about 3ms and uses about 40% of my CPU (I5 4670K). Is there a way to speed this up and not consume so much CPU?

Best,
W.

WG67,

If you attach the VI you want to run faster we can try to take a look at it to see the CPU usage can be lowered or speed can be increased.

In general though the following link has a powerpoint that is a really great resource for optimizing your VI.

Hello,

and many thanks for your answer.

I could post an image of my Vi but it just the Draw Flattened Pixmap VI (and the picture display), which is slow when dealing with alrge arrays.

Best,

W.
