ActiveX container (MS spreadsheet 10.0) is empty on a computer without LabVIEW

HI srikrishnaNF

I am using MS spreadsheet 10.0 and I inserted it as a control rather than as a document.  Is it becasue of this?

I have not insert any other file, the excel in this programme is simiply as indicator with same function as table.  The reason I am using Excel in ActiveX container is becasue I have never used it before.

 The reason must be ,the system in you are trying to run the program may not have office xp installed..

You mean ms office? but then how did he get that ms spreadsheet 10?

   If office xp is already installed ,then another option is you need to install the webcomponents of office...You can download and install from

   http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=982B0359-0A86-4FB2-A7EE-5F3A499515DD&displa...

   By installing this component only,you will get the activex object as microsoft office spreadsheet 10.0.

I have been working on this problem but still did not have it solved yet.

I built application with 'enable activex server' checked and installed office webcomponents.

I also tried to regsvr32.exe execel.exe, but it says it is not .dll or .ocx file and it can not be registered.

  Have you installed owc10.exe from the link i specified in the previous post.No use in using regsvr32 .

I am usingoffice 2003 on the computers both for progamming and applying executable file

os for both computer are xp

I will upload an example (VI and executable file ) later
