BLDC gimbal motor real time Labview

Hi,

I am working on a project for which I need to move a flap at high frequency back and forth by few degrees. I have looked into servo motors but they appear to be too slow. Instead the Gimbal, BLDC type, seems ideal.

Now, most of the documentation online is for using the Gimbal via Arduino or similar controller, but I need to connect the motor to my PXI to control it via Labview real time.

Did anyone encountered the same problem? Could someone point me at any project to control a BLDC motor directly with labview? Any type of help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If you want a fast response, you need to do it in an FPGA or microcontroller of some sort, whenever it comes to the realm of software, things are slow due to the processing latency.
