Converting backwards

We have a vi written in Labview 9, but don't have version 9 yet, only version 8.5. Is there a way to convert the vi version 9 to a vi version 8?

Then how did you manage to write it in LV9?

What you can do is post your VI to the downconvert thread.  Say what version it is in and what version you would like it to be.  Then someone will volunteer to convert it for you.

It was written by somebody else with a newer version than what we have. Because of a shakeup with personnel, we don't have access to them any longer.

I think the OP inferred that they were in possession of a VI written in 9, not that they wrote it
