To let you know, the forums work in a serial manner. So while you were replying to a specific message, your message gets put at the end of the list of other messages. So it is impossible to know who you are responding to.
If it can be confusing as to who you are responding to, then be sure to click the quote button (like I did in this message) so we can see the context to which your response applies.
