Fast way to find the number of non-zero terms in an array or image more help needed

I guess I don't understand how to use the array functions to count the number of non-zero array elements.

Do you have to put the array (2D) through two For loops to access each element or is there some matrix math type function that would do that...?

Please stick to the original thread. With this new message nobody has any idea what you're talking about.

Sorry about that...but the original thread is marked solved...and no one viewed the additional question.

I have an array.  I would like to know how many non-zero elements there are in the array.  Is there a "nifty" way to do that other than just scanning all the elements of the array?

Thanks.

The thread can still be continued once it's solved, and new messages will be seen. I saw it. And, I also responded. Go take a look. Smiley Wink
