Graphical DIPSWITCH

Solved!
Go to solution

Did anyone ever make a graphical Dipswitch in a LabView environment where you can toggle the switches with a mouse click(=Control)? Or as an Indicator.

Something like this (2colors would be fine):  dipSwitch.png

I was looking for an ActiveX control but wasn't very succesful and I don't want to re-invent the wheel... Smiley LOL

Any link or posted VI will be appreciated! (Kudo)

I don't understand the question. What do you want that is not provided by either the Vertical Switch or Vertical Slide Booleans?

Hi Xilinx,

did you ever checked the classic boolean control palette?

A classic switch like this might work:

You know you can color existing controls and you can even customize them?

Best regards,

Vertical Slide Switches are close to what you want.  They are oval shaped rather than square/rectangular.  You can customize the control to change the colors pretty easily.

You might be able to change the shape of the slide itself if you change the pictures that make up the individual parts of the control within the control editor.

(I see Dennis and Gerd got in slightly faster.  I didn't even think of looking on the classic palette.)

The Classic Version does the trick:  LV_DIP8.JPG
