How do I save a waveform graph into a GIF format file?

I am using Labview 6.1 base. I get a waveform graph from oscilloscope. I want to save this graph (not the whole pannel) to a gif file. How can I do it? Is there any example about this?
Thank you!

Jim -

Is there a reason that you want to save image as .gif? It is pretty easy to
save as .jpg, .bmp, and .png formats with excellent compression if you are
worried about file size. You can simply create a reference to the graph and
use property/invoke nodes to capture the front panel image, select entire
panel or visible area only and use the standard vi's that come with labview
to save as any one of the afore mentioned file formats. There are examples
on NI's website...just go to support and search for "front panel" and
"image". Hope this helps.

If you're using PC, you can download the GIF.llb from
my web site.
