How to average and subtract waveforms

Hi Tugez,

 

the waveform subtraction is working as expected:

check.png(green = red - white)

 

Maybe it's time to check that function from the toolkit you are using?

 

I guess, you get similar results before and after subtraction because the red line is rather flat and does not provide as much influence as you expect…

Here I subtract mic2 from mic1, so difference in result table 2 should be near 0. But it's not.

If your raw signals are in volts or pressure units and the displays are in decibels, this might account for the difference. Subtacting logarithms (decibels) is like dividing the original signals.
