How to cut of some frequency

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello!

My question is, how to cut off some frequency (machine noise). The problem is, im recording some sound, but have a noise in the background, which is always there, becouse of the machinerie around the test object. So i want to cut off (in example) frequency from 1300-1500Hz. How do i do that?

Im using labview 2010 & sound&vibration toolkit. I found some expres .vi's which cuts frequencies in example from 1000Hz up or down, but no .vi is there which cuts in betwen.

Hi!

You should create a bandstop filter. There are some examples on that in this forum. You can also check out and maybe modify this: https://decibel.ni.com/content/blogs/Simon/2010/06/16/world-cup-2010--filtering-the-annoying-vuvuzel...

P.s sorry for the long link. Opera seems to only let me create one link per post.

Regards,
Even
