How to solve the failure: "menu.cpp", line579

At start up, The error is issued. can't run it.

Not sure what is going on but you may try:

1. Installing the latest LabVIEW patch.
2. Reinstalling LabVIEW being sure you completly get rid of all folders, registry entries, etc.. when you unistall.

One question to help us: What version of LabVIEW are you running?

Thank you very much. I installed without deleting all folder at first. reinstalled also can't work. after it, I deleted all folder and software. it works. I am using LabVIEW 6.1

I had problems changing video resolutions... when I saved at 1280 and
reopened at 1024....

I just downloaded LabView 6.1 for Linux and encounter the same problem. Crashes right upon startup. I am running openSuSE 10.2 with fvwm2. Any ideas?
