All of the following are correct ways to view a SubVI on a Block Diagraqm except

A.   ICON

B   Modular Node

D.  Expanded Node

my guess is D is correct?

I'd say B, but none of the terms except A are used in normal LabVIEW jargon.
If an expandable node exsists, is would be called expanded node if it is
expanded, so C and D seem to validate themself.

Wiebe.

And I also said to use the LabVIEW help to find the answers to these basic questions. Maybe it's premature to take the CLAD exam if someone does not know how to use the Help.

Thanks people for your help.  I do not how tgo use labview help, b ut not to answer these sorts of questions. Also, the test does not have questions on how to use labviuew help, from the examples i have seen.

So here is another, if someone could tell me how to use help top actaully find these answers that would be great.  I do not think help is setup to answer test questions

here is anotrher

All of the following statements regarding SubVIs are true except.

A.  They require less memory
B.  They allow for easier debugging
C   They allow yopu to use the same code for many future applications
D.  All of the above are true.

I say answer is B  makes debugging more difficult?

No, the answer is D.
A is true : It requires less memory, because there are no controllers, indicators, etc.

B is true : You can see whether or not the data makes it into/out of the subVI. Makes it easier to pinpoint where errors are coming from

C is true : For obvious reasons.

So I would say D

I believe the use of subVIs in covered in the Development Guidelines. In any case, the use of subVIs does NOT make debug harder.
