I have exe built in 8.2 version

Hello,

I have labview 8.6.1 version on my PC. I got vi and its exe, which is developed on labview 8.2.

My question is , how can i build this old exe 8.2 version labview into 8.6.1 exe?

Do you have the application builder? If you do, just compile the VI in 8.6.1. (To do so you will have to create a project, add the VI, then create a build specification and build it).

What version of the LabVIEW 8.6.1 development environment do you have? You need the Professional development version, or I think there is a toolkit (application builder) that allows creating an executable, comes with the Professional Development, extra otherwise. You don't need the 8.2 exe, doesn't really do anything for you, but having the original vi does.
