I thought this would be easy, I need to rotate a custom controls on my front panel by 90 and 270 degrees. I don't need to do this programmatically, I simply need to have various controls at different orientations depending on where they are on my piping diagram.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Ron

For the most part, you can't rotate controls. But there are a number of things you can do to customize them.
What kind of control are you trying to work with? Can you post a .ctl file of it?

My control is simply a boolean that has been made to look like a valve. I guess I will make a second custom control called "valve vertical" or something like that and use two differnet versions for my P&ID.
Thanks for the info.

Yes, you will just have to make a different custom control.
Do you have the DSC module? That comes with a set of controls that look like valves and pipes and pumps, all in different arrangements.

For me it's easy enough to draw it in AutoCad and export a metafile. From what I can tell the DSC module has way more than I need at the present time.
