Labview USB control an Arduino Opta?

Hi,

Does anyone know if I can program and use the USB connection to an Arduino Opta as an input signal (i.e. instead of a standard input pin)?

The reason being, is that I want to send serial signals from my labview software to activate an output. Thanks

 LabVIEW can communicate with any Arduino over its serial connection using VISA just like any instrument on a serial port.
