Memory Leak in PDA Example App.

If my PDA only acquire data, the DAQ speed can reach 1K(continuous) or even 200K(finite). But now, in my application, there is a delay(≥ 15 seconds) between the activation of the sensor till the data is presented on the screen!

Hi,

that is very valuable information! Could you tell me:

-how many channels you are acquiring data continuous wihout problems (1,2,3 or 4) ?

-how long can you aqcuire them wihtout problems (minutes?) ?

- is your data in I16 format or in Double format?

I benchmearked the PDA  DAQ and found out that DAQ takes 12x more CPU power in version 2.2 compared to 1.1. With the new nidaqmxbase 2.2 I can only acquire (no visualisation) 2 channels continuous at 200samples/sec...no more! So this is LESS than the advertised preformace for the CF-6004.

I think this is really horrible and propably an unknow issue for the NI-programmers. Yet the NI-representatives I contacten dont seem interested. In case any NI-representative is reading this: I have documenten all my benchmark test and results for nidaqmxbase 2.2 fully and would be happy to discuss them.
