NI 5761 giving spike in values.

Hello,

I am using NI PXI-7951R & NI 5761 for my DAQ part of labview.

  1. The below is a snap-shot of the reading taken from a signal generator
  2. As you can see there are certain unknown random spikes occuring. I checked the signal from the signal generator on the oscillocope and it was clear without any spikkes
  3. Can someone shed some light on the origins of this spikes

Thank you.

Hi Abhilash,

I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Are you using one of the  5761 examples found in the Example Finder?

2. Can you please explain in a little more detail how everything is wired up in your system?

3. Do you have a resistor from signal to ground per this document?

Best,
