Hello guys ,
I am having difficulty in setting up server client system via OPC server.I am using LabVIEW 9 and KepServer for OPC. I also tried with NI OPC server with same results.These are the steps i have taken and please correct me if I am wrong.
1.Configuring OPC server (Channel---device----tag names----saving it----running quick OPC client)
2.Running LabVIEW project
3.Right click on My Computer in the project
4.Select IO server from the list.
5.Choosing OPC server from the list.I choose KEP server first and I tried the same things with NI OPC server.
6.Once I choose OPC server,one library will open up in the list.Save it.
7.Expand the library.Right click on OPC and create bound variables.
8.Once you click on OPC to select the variable which i had created in KEPServer or NI OPC server,LabVIEW shuts down itself.
So please provide solutions for that.
