Odd Description of Some Silver Buttons

The Silver Buttons in LV 2013 SP1:

Screen Shot 2015-06-02 at 10.44.47.png

have a strange description (Description and Tip...):

<style type="text/css">theme:silver;decal:open</style>

As a matter of fact, that's also true of the other two Booleans on the parent Palette:

I am not sure whether something got corrupted on my installation or whether that is indeed coming with the default installation.

I don't see any problems with LV2014 SP1.

I don't have LV 2013SP1 installed to be able to check that.

I looked at both LV2013 and LV2013 SP1.  I'm not 100% certain I know what you mean, but if I drop a Silver Button on the Front Panel and look at its Description and Tip, it says something like "Down Arrow Description" and "Down Arrow Tip" for both installations (on Windows 7 64-bit, LabVIEW 32-bit).

Hello X,

My recommendation would be to try and uninstall then reinstall and see if that fixes the problems. You could also try to repair the installation and see if that works. Based on the last post it seems like your installation may have gotten corrupted.

Yes, I think so. As a matter of fact, I realized afterwards that ALL my silver controls now have the same default description:

I probably won't uninstall and reinstall just for that, but I wonder what could have caused this and what to fix.

Hello X,

I'm not sure what could have caused this. If you do not want to uninstall/reinstall I would try to run a repair to the installation. This wouldn't take too much time and might serve you well for future context help issues. Here's a link that will walk you through the steps to repair if you decided to follow that route (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/FE6B641E86E55AF2862576DE00038001).

The corrected link.  http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/FE6B641E86E55AF2862576DE00038001

The last link had two odd non-printable ASCII characters buried in the end of it.
