Time wrong cRIO 9064

Hi all,

When I start my cRIO 9064 the date and time displayed in NI Max is wrong (see the difference between Max and the date/time of my computer.

Does this indicate that the internal battery may be empty?

Thanks!

Hi.

I think this may be a normal clock drift with time. If the internal battery was flat, I'd imagine you'd see a default timestamp, something like the 1st of Jan 2000 (which I believe is default for NI).

I would adjust the clock to the current time and date, and the maybe create some minor bit of code that will synchronize this periodically using the system time on your server or host PC. I believe there is a "Set Time.vi" Within the sysconfig palette.

Hope it helps.

Kind regards
