Use of DSC causes other applications that use SQL: to fail to run.

The use of Labview DSC seems to cause programs that use other vendor's SQL support to lock up and die. My current choice had been to run msconfig to disable loading any labview support upon startup. This allows me to use other applications such as PageManager. However oncde I run Labview I must again reboot to gain access to the other applications.

I thought all SQL and Database drivers were downwards compatible.

Hi,

maybe you should write your question to the NI LV DSC forum directly. It's
not so crowded and suits well for bug reports. I'd suggest to add this to
the discussion "What issues have you run into when upgrading to LabVIEW 7
Express?" ( http://tinyurl.com/xc1c ) even.

Sometimes I've the impression NI needs more pressure of the users for LV
DSC...
