I am using a Hamamatsu mini spectrometer C10988MA with the evaluation board C11351 and the evaluation software, which is working fine, but now I would like to control the spectrometer with LabVIEW. I found the LabVIEW instrument driver on the National Instrument website: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=BAC2FC71F51A22ADE0440021287E6A...
However it says that the “Mini-Spectrometer Software is needed for DLL”. And indeed, if I try to open the LabVIEW files, it does not find the required dll files (e.g. specu1a.dll…).

Hi,
Thank you for your question. The software you require is the SpecEvaluation.exe and it seems as though this, along with the specu1a.dll, can be obtained by contacting Hamamatsu directly, as I have not found anything available as open source software online and these are not provided by National Instruments.
I've come across this Mini-Spectrometres manual by Hamamatsu that may be of interest to you, this is where I found which software you required:

Nowadays you can't find this "specu1a.dll" file to use Hamamatsu drivers !
The new version 'specu1b.dll' is not compatible.
Does anyone still have this "specu1a.dll" file?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I have the same problem using a C10083CA Spectrometer from Hamammatsu, I have the specu1a.dll but can this not register on Windows 10. Without this DLL the USB connection is not working,
