nimxs.exe (service) has error 1067 and will not start

My NI configuration manager service will not start.  When I try to start it manually  I get error 1067.  (service filename is nimxs.exe)

Any idea how to fix withOUT reinstalling?

Hello EJW.

If the file is corrupted then you can probably just copy another nimxs.exe and overwrite your old one.

But reinstalling seems like the way to go. Sorry.
