polynomial

Hi

is there any vi to create zernike polynomials and normalize the strokes of those ?

thanks

Why do you want to do this in LabVIEW?  Note that "I only know LabVIEW" is not an acceptable answer!  Wouldn't a high-level "Math" language like Mathematical or Maple be better suited to dealing with these things?

Well, I would not discount pure LabVIEW for this, seems pretty trivial. You can display them in an intensity graph. (Long ago I calculated and displayed sperical harmonics on a 3D sphere. Similar problem, but quite a bit more complex. :D)

I am not quite sure where you have problems. It's all simple math!

Thanks Bob. I dont want to make this math more complex. I want to send this zerneki polynomial to spatial light modulator (SLM). This phase of this polynomical will add with the laser beam and modulate the beam.

I did this but now i want to normalize the Stroke of the polynomial.

Thanks

Hi Altenbach

I want to send the zerneki polynomical to Spatial light modulator and modulate the phase. I wrote in labview but i want to normalize the stroke.

do you have the VI of your sperical harmonic in forum. i want to have a look.

thanks
