rising and falling threshold detection

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a 1d array of data which i have put through the Threshold detector VI. This only gives me the indices of when the data passes over the threshold but not when it falls below the threshold. i would like to measure when a values pass a threshold then falls below the same threshold. that way i can work out the bandwidth of the signal. there will be multiple bands of signals which pass over the threshold

The Threshold Detector gives the peaks of the input signal X that exceeds the threshold T.  To get the "valleys" of the input signal X that falls below the threshold T, use the Threshold Detector VI with inputs -X and -T.
