waveform vs. 1D array of waveform for subVI connection

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I have a subVI that I'm modifying so it can accept a waveform type input (it used to take a 2D array of double). I have created the indicator of type "waveform" on the front panel of the subVI, and connected that using the terminal diagram. However, the DAQmx acquisition block I need to connect to it (from the parent VI) outputs a 1D array of waveform, and hence it the two are not compatible. Can someone please tell me how to make the indicator into a 1D array of waveform type, rather than just a waveform type?

Thanks,
Claire.

Place an array container on the front panel, drop the waveform control into it, and connect that to the connector pane. See how far you get. 😉
