CVI2012 file API_CIV.dll is missing

can't set a breakpoint because of this error?(i assume it is enough to prevent the breakpoint being set).  

I do not know of a way to know for sure just yet.

is anyone familiar with how to acquire this file?

Please create a post there, and be sure to include the following additional pieces of information:

• What error message are you seeing? Post a screenshot of it, if possible.
• What steps do you take to reproduce the error?
• Which version of LabWindows/CVI are you using? (e.g., 2013, 2013 SP1, 2013 SP2?)
• Do you have any patches for LabWindows/CVI installed?
• What OS are you using?
