Cvi 2009: fopen( pathN, "wb" ) Error

Problem: Could not update a hidden file in cvi 2009 (Runtime Engine: 9.1.0.428).

I had no problem doing this with cvi 9.0.1 (Runtime Engine: 9.0.0.348).

Is this the expected behavior under cvi 2009?

My work around is to simply unhide the file and then perform the update, the problem with that is I have a number of programs that will require modification.
