CVI window will not come back from minimization if variable window is detached and showing

Have project open.

Select Windows > variables

-Ensure Variables window is detached and its own window

Minimize main CVI Window by clicking the (_) button in top right corner (variables window still showing)

When reclicking the task bar at the bottom, the screen does not come up, but rather the variables window disappears.

When clicking again, the variables window re-appears and so on.

If I right click the taskbar button and say unminimize, it works.

If I click the taskbar button to minimize, clicking again unminimizes the main window correctly.

This is the intended behavior.

The taskbar button is owned by the entire CVI application. When you click on the taskbar button,  the application, including all visible top level windows, are minimized. When you click on the taskbar button again to restore CVI, the previous window state is restored. Any windows that were minimized when the application was minimized are left minimized when the application is restored.

You can use the taskbar unminimize option, as well as the Window menu to restore individual minimized windows.
