Error "the number is zero" when using LinearFitEx function

Hello,

I'm presently using LinearFitEx function with biquared algo with tolerance of 0.0001 to fit a linear function to some data. The goal is to use the slope as a estimate of the derivative of the points

Most of the time every thing works ok, but some time I get an errror message saying "The number is zero", this corresponds to error #-20141. What number is zero ? I cannot see anything special with the data set that generates this error compared to other data sets.

Any help would be great

Could you perhaps post the snippet of the code using LinearFitEx, and a small number of samples that generates the random error?
