I want to thank you for the help. Although I didn't get program to do what I want the way I want it, you helped me get what I need. Macros are easy to create and maintain if you keep them in Personal.xlsb file. Program sample is converted to Excel 2010 but if anyone simply duplicates the function that opens .xls file will get it to work in earlier versions.
