Hello all!
Being quite new to the Linux world and struggling getting things together I thought I'd ask for help.
I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 and LabVIEW 2010 (or lower).
What I try to achieve is to create a VISA driver for our custom USB device. I've got as far as to installing visa and being able to run NIvisaic and visaconf, but what I believe I need to do now is to run the VISA Driver Wizard (driverwizard), but that doesn't seem to be installed.
I've tried to collect bits and pieces from here and there, and have modified the fstab file with the line
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs rw,devmode=0666 0 0
Now I've come to a halt, I believe the next step is to create the VISA driver, but I don't seem to be able to do that.
Any shared knowledge on the subject would be highly appreciated.
