Hi,

Does anyone try to install DAQmx 8.0.2 on LabView 2013?

Hi,

Concerning this step:

(ii)Edit your  /boot/grub/grub.conf to include "mem=4096M"

Sometimes adding "mem=4096M" will not work properly. This is because this option only limits the kernel to using 4 gigs of RAM, but the 4 gigs can still be allocated to addresses over the 2^32 bit addressable range. If "mem=4096M" does not work for you, you can try using "memmap=60G$0x100000000" which tells the user to ignore 60G of memory above 0x100000000

Hi, I have followed these steps and everything works fine, but sometimes, in case of accidental power loss, lspci works fine, but nilsdev does not show nothing anymore...

Do you ever had this kind of problem?

Everything returns to work only if I uninstall and reinstall nikal and daqmx

I'm on CentOS release 6.6 (Final), kernel 2.6.32-504.16.2.el6.i686

NI DAQmx 8.0.2

Nikal 2.5

NI-PCI 4474

Thanks
