How to install NIDAQmx in Redhat 7?

Hi everyone,

I have a data acquistion card (PCI 6229) and I just installed it in my industrial computer.

However, I can't install the NIDAQmx 8.0.2 on the NI website.

When I install the driver, it jumps out that the labview 8 is not installed.

Can I just install the NIDAQmx without labview?

If not possible, where can I download the labview for linux version?

According to my searching result, the evaluation version is only available for Windows and Mac only.

I know it's probably a very basic problem, but if someone has the solution please let me know.

Thanks.

Jason

Hi,

I have installed NI DAQmx 8.0.2 for Linux under Scienfic Linux 6.4 without LabView support and Labview. I think it is enough to answer continue with installation.
