Linux labview 10.0 reports: task niDriverThread:7696 blocked for more than 120 seconds

I just received and installed Linux labview 10.0.0 on openSuse 11.2 i586.  I have a question:

When I tried to instal NI-488 (2.5.1), it complained that it can't handle a kernel configured for greater than 4GB of memory.

I'm willing to accept that limitation, so I modified the stock opensuse 11.2 kernel .config (2.6.31.14-0.4-desktop as in the latest patches) to use the 4GB memory model.  I rebuilt the kernel and modules and rebooted.

At that stage, I was able to build and load the ni modules and communicate with my NI-PCIe 488 board.

lsmod shows:

Module                  Size  Used by
NiViPciK               81984  0
nipxirmk              119304  1
nidimk                337696  2 nipxirmk
niorbk                108788  2 nipxirmk,nidimk
gpibprtk              252820  0
nipalk               1295316  8 NiViPciK,nipxirmk,nidimk,niorbk,gpibprtk
nikal                  78168  1 nipalk

The problem is that I am getting INFO messages upon module loading.  These INFO messages repeat every 120 seconds for five iterations and then I believe it stops.  Is this a problem?  The communication with the NI-PCIe 488 board is working.  Thanks for any help on this matter.

Here is the dmesg output:
