Linux support for X-series?

Hi,

We're using the PCIe-6321 to generate complex analog waveforms.

In our system, we need to synchronize video outputs with these voltage waveforms.

We were using Windows 8.1, but would like to switch to RHEL 7 for Real Time in

hopes of getting more consistent results.

I've read that DAQmx Base 15.0.0 did  not support X-series cards

like the PCIe-6321 when it was released.  Have X-series cards been covered by

the "NI-DAQmx Support" releases in the past year?

We use the retriggerable counters including the finite pulse train, to

produce our output waveforms.  One of the paragraphs in the DAQmx Base

15.0 release notes says,

"M Series finite pulse train generation is allowed by the NI-DAQmx Base API, but

does not behave as expected. In finite pulse train mode the selected counter

only generates a single pulse regardless of the number of pulses requested.

Single pulse and continuous pulse generations behave as expected."

Does that mean that http://forums.ni.com/t5/Driver-Development-Kit-DDK/New-M-Series-DDK-Example-Retriggerable-Finite-Pul...

works great on [Windows / DAQmx] but not on [Linux / DAQmx Base]?

Does this mean that we can't fall back to either the PCIe-6251 or PCIe-6259?

Diving into MHDDK doesn't look straightforward.  Is it my best option?

Thanks very much for your time!

Dan
