Read errors while trying to install Labview 2009

The same occurs with RHEL 4 and RHEL 5. on three different computers, at the same places.

I failed to mount the original Labview 2009 DVD for Mac and Linux until I tried a file system -t hfsplus (quoted on the Web).

There are plenty of errors (media) while trying to read the DVD - not only with the installer, also trying to copy to disk.

Is hfsplus the right file system to read that DVD?

Thanks

Jacques

Yes, hfsplus is the correct format for you to mount your media.

2 things interesting.  In my experience my RHEL 4 and 5 installations have auto-mounted so you should be able to get that to work.  I'm forgetting off hand how to set that up.

The other thing is it sounds like you have bad media.  Have you contacted support or any local NI engineers?  You should be able to get another copy and we would be interested to see the media to track down how you got bad media.

For more info, could you post what errors precisely you are getting when going through the installation or the copy?
