I'm looking for a color camera with built-in autofocus feature.
Please help.

Hello George,
Can you expand on your application or use case? I think any recommendation is going to depend on what you are trying to do with the camera.

Just try to take a picture of UUT, and save to file for records.

So there is no resolution or fps requirements? If that is the case, you might want to look here https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/IMAQdx-DirectShow-and-multiple-USB-Webcams/td-p/2031706 . In general, if we are purely doing image acquisition for human eyes to look at later on and no processing, then web cams with DirectShow capability should be able to get the job done easily and at low cost.

We DO have requirements: built-in autofocus, and RGB24 color image.

If those are your only two requirements, then I would still recommend using a DirectShow capable web cam and looking at the above forum thread for ideas.

Not all DirectShow cameras have autofocus capability.

If what you are looking for is an high end camera
Vistek has camera that interface with Micro 4/3" lens standard of DSLR camera.
Those lenses has autofocus inside the lens.
It is not cheap solution. But you have a real industrial solution with real good lens.
