PCI-1422 LVDS cable connector to VDS cool1300 camera

Hello , we have in our lab a TE2000 nikon microscope with a Cool1300Q camera by VDS (now AVT) we need to replace the frame-grabber we are using  (MV1500) and the only compatible frame-grabber is the PCI-1422 LVDS.

Do we need to change the cable or can we use the same cable for the the PCI-1422?

Hi Eden.Lab,

Based on those pictures you posted, you're using a 68-pin connector to connect to your camera. The PCI-1422 manual specifies that it takes a 100-pin SCSI connection (page 3-1), so you will need to purchase a new cable. The product page for the PCI-1422 specifies the cables that you can purchase from NI which will work with the 1422 - they are 100-pin SCSI on both ends.
